Decorative Glass
Decorative glass is glass that is used for its appearance rather than its function. It can be tinted, frosted, shaped, or coloured.
Types of Decorative Glass
- Textured Glass: Features a rough or bumpy surface that adds visual interest and privacy. Ideal for use in skylights, walls, and partitions.
- Etched Glass: Created by blasting the glass surface with acid, caustic, or abrasive substances to produce frosted or decorative designs, adding elegance and style.
- Laminated Glass: Combines fabric, metallic screens, or other decorative interlayers between glass sheets, resulting in a strong, durable, and stylish option.
- Bevelled Glass: Clear glass with a bevelled (slanted) edge, often used as inset panels for doors, cabinets, and decorative accents.
Features
- Decorative glass can also be used to reduce visibility and protect privacy.
